God cannot lie. He is always truthful. Even David waited to see how God’s anointing would flourish; 1 Samuel 16:12-13. He kept a good attitude for many years through greatness and defending his life from his father-in-law and others. 1 Samuel 30:6, reads, “And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”
After Saul and Jonathan died in battle, the Lord guided David to Hebron where he was anointed king of Judah, in 2 Samuel 1-4.
Dear Lord God, Your words are always true and bring life, You’re faithful to bring them to pass, I love You and trust You.
