- 1 cup Jasmine Rice
- 2 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 1/4 cups Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons Maple Syrup
Combine the rice and water in a pot, add the olive oil, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat and stir in nutmeg and cinnamon, simmer covered, until water is absorbed. Begin adding the milk, a little at a time, stirring till each addition is nearly absorbed. Stir in maple syrup. Serve warm.
