but it frees from what really is destroying you. “The truth will make you free,” Jesus says in John 8:32. Let His truth penetrate you.
I asked God to take the desire for alcohol from me, the need to escape. He did, He lifted the oppression off and I was and am free from it.
God is my Deliverer. I only had to ask for Him to remove the desire. Before this, I denied having a problem. Though I didn’t hide it from others, the reason I drank was controlling me. Addiction has a way of making its own sin in other areas of your life.
Thank You, Jesus.
You also healed my addiction to a t.v. show about the same time. I knew it was wrong & it didn’t glorify You.
