1 Corinthians 14:26, “How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.”
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup White Flour
- 1/2 Cup Bulgar Wheat*
- 1 1/2 Cups Mashed Bananas (about 2 and a half bananas)
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 Ounces Softened Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Coffee
- 1/8 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- Dusting of Cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, coat baking pan with oil. Mix flour, wheat and baking soda together. Separately break eggs in a bowl and dissolve salt, cream butter, and stir in oil. Combine egg mixture to flour mixture, add coffee, cinnamon and bananas, pour into pan. (*If you desire to soak the Bulgar wheat first; cover with boiling water in a separate bowl for one hour.)
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean, let partially cool before serving.
Enjoy this multi-layer flavored bread with family & friends or at least good memories and hopes of more times with family & friends.
