Jesus, You don’t need to prove anything else.  Your words & actions stand forever.  You are our High Priest forever and we love You, Lord.

Judges 6:39, “And Gideon said unto God, Let not Your anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.”

Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”

Hebrews 9:11-12, “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.”

…But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:      And the rest, some on boards & some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.  Acts 27:43-44.

Lord, saved for Your purpose.

God’s Word is What He Will Do

“God’s word is positive. True faith is positive. It is not just for the time being. Passengers don’t mind an aircraft pilot being dogmatic. They hope he is, especially about their destination. If he isn’t dead sure, passengers fear they will end up dead, for sure! In life we want our destination equally guaranteed. Who thinks it is a virtue to be doubtful whether they will land in hell or heaven? “Dogmatic” is not the right word. We have the ‘assurance’ of salvation. Bible language is always that of a sure and certain hope. “We know” is a typical New Testament expression. We can be sure, and it should not be called ‘cock-sure’. Saying the sun will rise tomorrow doesn’t make us dogmatic nor cock-sure. To be sure of Jesus is no more ‘cock-sure’ than being sure of the dawn tomorrow. God is as sure as the dawn. If not, nothing is sure. What He is, He will be. What He did, He will do. The common Christian testimony is that of the apostle Paul: “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.” Are you blessed? Please tell me. REINHARD BONNKE”

Third World Diet

Fresh vegetables, whole grains, avoid sugar and preservatives:  my masseuse told me eating a third world diet helped his other client be painfree from years of arthritic pain.  What do you have to lose?

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:29.

1 Samuel 25:18, 27, “Then Abigail made haste, and took 2 hundred loaves, and 2 bottles of wine, and 5 sheep ready dressed, and 5 measures of parched corn, & 100 clusters of raisins, & 200 cakes of figs & laid them on asses.  And now this blessing which your handmaid has brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.”

2 Sam 17:27-29, “Now when David had come to Mahanaim, Shobi the son of Nahash from Rabbah of the sons of Ammon, Machir the son of Ammiel from Lo-debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite from Rogelim, brought beds, basins, pottery, wheat, barley, flour, parched grain, beans, lentils, parched seeds, honey, curds, sheep, and cheese of the herd, for David and for the people who were with him, to eat; for they said, “The people are hungry and weary and thirsty in the wilderness.””

“Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself: handle Me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see Me have.  And when He had thus spoken, he shewed them His hands and His feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, He said unto them, Have you here any meat? And they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.” Luke 24:42.

Father, You’re so Beautiful

Psalm 8:3-4. “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man, that You art mindful of him? and the son of man, that You visit him?”

Psalm 139, “You are fearfully & wonderfully made.”

“As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons.  I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.  He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.”  Song of Solomon 2:3-4.

“Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” 1 Chronicles 16:29.

Song: 5:10-14, “My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.  His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.  His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires.”
