Pr MacArthur’s grandfather, Harry, of Calgary, converted to Christ in his 20’s then moved to California and was a lifelong Pastor who started Voice of Calvary on the radio.

John survived a horrific car accident after his College freshman year, thrown out of the car going 75 miles/ 120.7 km/ hour.

He gave his testimony about Christ, as Player of the Week at Kiwanis Club in Pacific College, and renounced football.
